DEL MAR DOG BEACH
FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY
North Beach in Del Mar, often affectionately referred to as Dog Beach, holds the distinction of being the sole area where dogs can enjoy off-leash freedom on Del Mar city beaches. Stretching from 29th Street north to Solana Beach, dogs can frolic without constraints, though during the summer months, leashes are required. The primary section of this beach is situated on the north side of the San Dieguito River Lagoon entrance, adjacent to Camino Del Mar. Along the beach has some breath taking cliffs and rock formations for great backdrops for lovely family photos.

Being a Del Mar family photographer, I absolutely adore shooting at Del Mar Dog Beach, also known as North Beach. The coastal cliffs and rocks below provide a stunning backdrop, adding a beautiful dimension and depth to every photo. Alongside the cliffs and rocks, the sandy shores and ocean contribute to the scenic beauty of the coastline in every direction. I've captured numerous family portraits, maternity sessions, and engagement photos at Del Mar North Beach, and the reactions are always filled with awe when clients see their breathtaking images.

Family time is so important as a child, I remember the times my family and I simply went on walks at the local beaches or visit the old military forts along the coast in San Francisco.
