Crestmore Manor is a magnificent colonial-style mansion built in the mid 1950’s.  It’s a much desired location for weddings and other events and offers well-manicured grounds including brick paving, an expansive lawn, beautiful old shade trees, luscious pond, all of which create a perfect background for your wedding day photos.  Lindsey was referred to me through one of my previous couples Lisa and Kevin, (I love when this happens!) and when Lindsey asked to me to photograph her wedding I couldn’t have been happier.  Lindsey and Daniel met in the athletic training room in college at Cal State San Bernardino, they also had chemistry together and as she puts it, they’ve had “chemistry” since then.  The lighting was amazing for their romantic photos and I hope they will love them for years to come.  I love the feel of the images and if you’re looking for a vintage type of wedding venue, I would definitely suggest looking into this venue to host your wedding.

The Rancho Santa Fe Community Center is in its 43rd year of bringing good times to the Rancho Santa Fe community and it wouldn’t happen without the dedication of its members, donors, sponsors, community partners, volunteers, staff and board of directors.  The community center is very honored by the energy and committment of these people.  On May 17th, 2014, the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center hosted a fundraiser event called “Moroccan Fantasy Gala.”  The community center was transformed into a beautiful oasis full of bright and gorgeous colors, flowers, lighting and accents all designed by Raphael’s Party Rentals.  The event consisted of cocktails and a silent auction followed by a delicious dinner, live auction and dancing.  The Dancing Fire provided several forms of entertainment including dancers, music and hookahs.  It was an amazing night of fun and catching up with good friends.

Rancho Bernardo Winery, with its quaint and rustic surroundings was the perfect setting for Anna & James’ wedding.  This day was the first time I had met Anna & James and we instantly connected as if we’ve known each other for years.  This connection is key and it allows the couple to feel very comfortable around me to capture very natural feeling photos of their wedding day.  We had such a fun time throughout the whole day capturing some amazing images of them and all their family and friends.  Stay tuned for more!

Windansea Beach, located in La Jolla, tends to be a busy hot spot for photographers because of its beautiful landscape of rocks, sand and water.  One of the reasons why I like it, is the times that I’ve been there it looks different then the last.  The tide either takes the sand out and leaves great rock formations or there is a good mixture of both.  Either way, it leaves great options for photos.  I love Camille and Josh.  They are so cute together, they make each other laugh and like to have fun.  Camille is originally from the Philippines but was raised in San Diego and Josh is from Michigan and then moved to Phoenix, AZ where they both reside now.  They met through friends and fell in love quickly.  Josh proposed to Camille at a John Legend concert while the song “All of Me” was playing.  He definitely scored some points with that one!  Good job Josh!
